8:30am – Introductions in Barton Lab A134 (Kikkert, Nault, Pethybridge)
8:33am - Brief overview of vegetable production in New York and Cornell Cooperative Extension (Kikkert)
8:45am – Get in vehicles and head over to Seneca Foods, 100 Gambee Road, Geneva, NY 14456

9:00am – Sign into Seneca Foods and put on safety gear; MUST FOLLOW THE DRESS CODE
No tank tops or shorts
Must have close toed shoes (NO flip flops or sandals)
No jewelry or watches
10:30am – Leave Seneca Foods and travel to Hansen Farms LLC, 2330 Mott Rd, Stanley, NY 14561 (19 min travel) - see large cabbage fields, cabbage cold storage, packing operation, food safety.
